Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Guidewire development and implementation.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Gosu programming and Guidewire data models.
- Proven experience working with Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter.
- Strong understanding of product modeling, rules design, and insurance domain workflows.
- Experience building integrations using messaging frameworks, batch jobs, and plugins.
- Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud Platform and upgrade processes.
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational database structures.
- Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience in insurance (P&C preferred) is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Develop configurations and customizations across Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter using Gosu.
- Implement product model changes including coverages, conditions, and policy term logic.
- Design and build integrations using messaging, batch processing, plugins, and Guidewire Integration Gateway.
- Develop and maintain PCF customizations and entity model extensions.
- Build rules using GX Model, business rules, and validation frameworks.
- Support Guidewire Cloud Platform upgrades and modernization initiatives.
- Optimize Gosu logic and database queries for performance.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause resolution.
- Collaborate with business analysts and SMEs on technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and document technical architecture.
