Requirements
- University degree in Health Sciences, Psychology, Counselling, Nursing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in vocational rehabilitation, disability management, or active rehabilitation services.
- Strong understanding of rehabilitation practices, disability insurance, medical terminology, and case management.
- Experience managing budgets and coordinating external service providers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for regional travel.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage customized vocational rehabilitation and return-to-work programs.
- Develop outcome-focused rehabilitation strategies for individuals receiving disability-related support.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, employers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct client assessments and oversee case management activities.
- Support transitioning members of the Canadian Forces with vocational integration.
- Manage program budgets and ensure cost-effective service delivery.
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Monitor progress and resolve challenges proactively.
