Requirements

  • Born in Japan
  • Native-level Japanese proficiency
  • Deep understanding of Japanese internet culture and consumer behavior
  • Knowledge of local advertising trends and communication nuances
  • Hands-on experience with Yahoo Japan Ads and LINE Ads
  • Minimum $30,000 monthly spend management experience on Yahoo/LINE platforms
  • English proficiency (B1 or higher)
  • Experience promoting B2C products, digital products, apps, or subscriptions

Responsibilities

  • Launch, optimize, and scale campaigns on Yahoo Ads and LINE Ads
  • Develop creative strategy tailored to the Japanese audience (messaging, visuals, tone of voice)
  • Manage and scale advertising budgets while maintaining profitability targets
  • Own campaign performance and growth metrics (Spend volume, CPA / CAC, Conversion rates, Funnel efficiency)
  • Test creatives, landing pages, and audiences with cultural context in mind
  • Analyze performance and identify new growth opportunities
