Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school (MD/DO)
- Board Certified or Board eligible in a relevant specialty (e.g., Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine)
- Minimum of 10 Active, unrestricted medical licenses in multiple U.S. states
- Willingness and eligibility to obtain additional state medical licenses
- Eligible and willing to act as a Collaborating/Supervising Physician for Nurse Practitioners
- 3+ years of post-residency clinical experience
- Comfort managing care across weight management, men’s health and women's health
- Proficiency with EHR systems and telehealth platforms
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality telehealth services through synchronous and asynchronous encounters
- Diagnose, treat, and manage patients across weight management, men’s health, and women's health service lines
- Prescribe medications safely and appropriately in compliance with federal and state laws
- Document all patient interactions accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Escalate care appropriately when in-person evaluation or emergency care is required
- Serve as a Collaborating/Supervising Physician for Nurse Practitioners as required by state law
- Review NP charts, prescriptions, and clinical decisions per regulatory and organizational standards
- Maintain compliance with all applicable state-specific scope of practice and telehealth regulations
