Requirements
- 10+ years in process engineering, operations, continuous improvement, or transformation leadership.
- Proven track record of designing, scaling, and sustaining enterprise-wide process improvements.
- Proven track record of deploying AI and automation solutions in production.
- Expertise in process mapping, value stream analysis, and root cause analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone, DMAIC, A3).
- Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certification strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to drive measurable impact (NPS/CSAT, cost reduction, cycle time).
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional investigations and redesigns.
- Strong analytical and systems-thinking mindset.
- Excellent communication and storytelling ability.
- Experience building and scaling teams in matrixed environments.
Responsibilities
- Build and scale Toast's Process Engineering & Continuous Improvement program.
- Lead end-to-end process redesign across the customer lifecycle.
- Uncover and resolve systemic issues using a structured CI operating model.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to streamline workflows.
- Eliminate operational waste using Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, and value stream analysis.
- Define and own enterprise-wide process KPIs.
- Establish governance and accountability frameworks for process improvement.
- Embed a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team.
