Requirements
- Strong experience building production software systems in modern JavaScript/TypeScript environments
- Frontend/mobile engineering experience using React
- Backend/platform engineering experience building APIs and services
- Ability to reason through system design, trade-offs, data flows, APIs, and user journeys
- Experience contributing to technical discovery, solution design, and story shaping
- Strong understanding of API design, frontend/backend integration, and scalable architecture
- Experience working in agile product teams
- Experience implementing automated testing strategies
- Experience with CI/CD tooling and GitHub workflows
- Confidence debugging production issues
Responsibilities
- Deliver features end-to-end: definition, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring
- Work closely with Product and Design during the definition phase to shape problems and design solutions
- Break down ambiguous product problems into clear technical approaches
- Contribute to technical discovery and produce lightweight architecture/design documents
- Refine stories collaboratively with the squad
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs
- Implement and maintain automated testing including acceptance, unit, and integration tests
- Ensure applications and services are observable, maintainable, and safe to operate
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and operational improvements
- Participate in code reviews, incident learning, and agile ceremonies
