Requirements
- ~10 years of experience in capital markets, project finance, structured finance, or investment banking.
- Clear focus on renewable energy.
- Track record in partnership flips, preferred equity investments, and tax credit transfer transactions.
- Experience with project- and portfolio-level debt, including construction and back-leverage facilities.
- Established active network of tax equity investors, transfer buyers, and lenders.
- Deep fluency in post-IRA and OBBBA tax credit rules and compliance.
- Strong hands-on project finance modeling skills in Excel.
- Experience negotiating term sheets and financing documentation.
- Ability to communicate across diverse technical and executive audiences.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and grow a rolodex of capital providers including tax equity investors, transfer buyers, and lenders.
- Manage a disciplined origination process and maintain market intelligence on pricing and terms.
- Design and standardize playbook documentation including diligence packages and term sheets.
- Lead sourcing and execution of project- and portfolio-level financings for solar and storage assets.
- Negotiate term sheets and define definitive financing documentation.
- Collaborate with solar finance to build, audit, and stress-test Excel-based financial models.
- Coordinate transaction diligence end-to-end across internal and external stakeholders.
- Translate complex financing data for executive leadership and the board.
- Represent the company externally at industry conferences and with capital partners.
