Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Environmental science.
- 3 years in technical sales, project management, or customer service.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Strong leadership, self-initiative, and resource utilization.
- Solid critical thinking skills.
- Advanced English language skills.
- Advanced reasoning and mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Responsibilities
- Identifies business leads with existing and potential customers.
- Proactively seeks out and initiates contact with prospective customers.
- Develops a network of industry contacts and qualifies market conditions.
- Conducts discovery sessions to identify client needs and potential opportunities.
- Develops a value proposition and determines how SGS services help clients achieve goals.
- Secures closure on all proposals and hands over contracts to the Client Services Team.
- Updates sales process activity reports in CRM with agreed-upon KPIs.
- Presents at tradeshows and technical seminars to build brand awareness.
