Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Environmental science.
  • 3 years in technical sales, project management, or customer service.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Strong leadership, self-initiative, and resource utilization.
  • Solid critical thinking skills.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Advanced reasoning and mathematical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Identifies business leads with existing and potential customers.
  • Proactively seeks out and initiates contact with prospective customers.
  • Develops a network of industry contacts and qualifies market conditions.
  • Conducts discovery sessions to identify client needs and potential opportunities.
  • Develops a value proposition and determines how SGS services help clients achieve goals.
  • Secures closure on all proposals and hands over contracts to the Client Services Team.
  • Updates sales process activity reports in CRM with agreed-upon KPIs.
  • Presents at tradeshows and technical seminars to build brand awareness.
