Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in wholesale energy markets, energy economics, energy trading, or energy management.
  • Familiarity with trends in Demand Response and Distributed Energy Resources (DERs).
  • Strong analytical, data, and financial modeling skills.
  • Experience working in remote or hybrid environments across time zones.
  • Ability to demonstrate independent work, time management, and asynchronous communication.
  • Degree in business, finance, energy economics, engineering, or related field.
  • Detail-oriented with a hands-on approach to complex processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies and processes for participation in wholesale electricity markets, state, and utility-run programs.
  • Build and manage financial revenue models for respective markets/programs.
  • Prepare monthly accruals, forecasts, and reconciliations to actuals.
  • Coordinate on monthly partner payment activities.
  • Engage with external stakeholders such as state regulators, program administrators, and Leap’s customers.
  • Develop short and mid-term market strategies to achieve growth in customer base and revenue.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination with internal teams to achieve company revenue targets.
