Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience managing complex projects or programs through full project lifecycle delivery.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credential required.
  • Experience in healthcare programs, ideally Medicaid, Medicare, or human services systems.
  • Familiarity with integrated eligibility systems, MMIS platforms, or similar government healthcare solutions.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and project financial management.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage both direct and indirect stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills with the ability to influence decision-making.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with experience using project management tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior team members in a structured environment.
  • Ability to work remotely within the United States, with limited travel as required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate large-scale project teams by structuring complex programs into clear, manageable project plans and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, scopes, and milestones to ensure successful execution across all phases.
  • Oversee project staffing, task assignment, and performance tracking to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and leadership to provide updates, metrics, and project status reports.
  • Identify risks, escalate issues promptly, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Support proposal development, statements of work (SOW), and business development initiatives.
  • Translate program objectives into actionable project plans that align with organizational goals and client expectations.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering capability development and operational excellence.
