Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in payroll, benefits, or HR operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Experience with HRIS or payroll systems like Paylocity.
  • Experience with multi-state payroll processing.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Experience supporting audits and compliance reporting.
  • Reliable, high-speed internet access for remote work.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for a multi-state workforce.
  • Administer benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
  • Generate and analyze workforce reports regarding turnover, headcount, and productivity.
  • Conduct audits and data validation across HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Support HR operations for mergers, acquisitions, and system integrations.
  • Partner with Finance for payroll reconciliations and reporting.
  • Coordinate with benefit vendors to resolve enrollment or claims issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive employee data.
