Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in community marketing, developer relations, or technical advocacy.
- 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing teams.
- Demonstrated experience engaging and supporting technical communities, especially in networking or open-source.
- Proven track record of building and scaling community programs like user groups or ambassador programs.
- Experience with event management (webinars, meetups, conferences).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of how to communicate with technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple programs, deadlines, and stakeholder groups.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and grow the global community across digital platforms like LinkedIn, Reddit, GitHub, Slack, and Discord.
- Monitor community conversations for technical questions and product insights.
- Build and launch the NetBox Heroes advocate program from the ground up.
- Highlight community success stories via blog, podcast, newsletters, and webinars.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to turn community insights into impactful stories.
- Lead monthly virtual community calls and recruit speakers.
- Develop and execute a global meetup strategy, including regional in-person events.
