Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Proposal Manager for federal government proposals.
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Business, Technical, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record of managing and winning federal proposals ranging from $5M to $100M+.
- Deep understanding of the Shipley Proposal Process and APMP best practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively, guide writers, and manage content.
- Strong proposal writing and editing skills.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with MS SharePoint.
- Experience with Orals presentations.
- Knowledge of Generative AI in proposal development is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of proposal development from pre-proposal through submittal.
- Develop proposal master outlines and compliance matrices.
- Lead kickoff and status meetings and manage the proposal schedule.
- Work with SMEs and writers to plan and develop compelling proposal content.
- Lead color reviews and the resolution of reviewer recommendations.
- Coordinate with pricing and contracts departments.
- Oversee proposal formatting and production activities.
- Maintain the accuracy of the Past Performance Library.
