Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completed residency in Psychiatry
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Active Georgia medical license
- DEA license for Georgia
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for working with diverse patient populations across the lifespan
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of mental health conditions including ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related disorders, and more
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy recommendations
- Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, schools, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA and Georgia state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and clinical consultations
- Stay current on the latest developments in psychiatric care and treatment approaches
