Requirements
- PhD in a scientific or healthcare-related field.
- Early-career experience in complex medical conditions.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or orthopedic experience strongly preferred.
- Expertise in medical research methodologies and tools (PubMed, Google Scholar, clinical databases).
- Ability to interpret complex clinical, molecular, and laboratory data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated curiosity, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of complex patient cases by reviewing medical records, extracting clinical data, and identifying relevant diagnostic and treatment pathways.
- Conduct in-depth literature reviews across peer-reviewed medical sources to evaluate evidence-based treatments and emerging therapies.
- Interpret molecular diagnostics, laboratory results, and clinical findings to support accurate, data-driven care recommendations.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize treatment options, including standard-of-care guidelines, investigational therapies, and clinical trial opportunities.
- Support clinicians in client-facing discussions by presenting research insights and contributing to shared decision-making.
- Identify and evaluate clinical trials, including database research, evidence synthesis, and direct outreach to trial sites.
- Develop patient-friendly reports, presentations, and data visualizations to clearly communicate complex medical information.
