Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance operations, ideally in high-growth or agency environments.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, tax compliance, and accounting principles.
- Experience managing multi-currency transactions, payroll, and contractor payments across international teams.
- Proficiency with accounting tools such as QuickBooks Online or similar platforms.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for financial modeling, reporting, and analysis.
- Ability to build budgets, forecasts, and interpret financial data into clear business insights.
- Experience with contractor/payment platforms (e.g., Deel, Gusto, Wise) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, and bank reconciliations.
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes while ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
- Manage multi-country payroll, contractor payments, and vendor invoicing across multiple currencies and regions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling across departments, clients, and projects.
- Analyze profitability, margins, KPIs, and revenue streams to provide insights that support strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audit readiness, and proper documentation across all financial processes.
- Partner with leadership to identify cost optimization opportunities and improve financial performance.
- Improve and scale financial systems, tools, and reporting dashboards for greater efficiency and transparency.
