Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Community Development, Public Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in community outreach, stakeholder engagement, partnership development, or related social service work.
  • Experience working within nonprofit organizations, community-based programs, or social services environments.
  • Strong understanding of community resources, immigrant support systems, child welfare services, and social service provider networks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking, facilitation, presentation development, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to conduct landscape analysis, partnership assessments, and basic data analysis to inform outreach and strategic initiatives.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities with attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience creating outreach materials, content, or communication resources for community engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and communication styles.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is highly preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, insurance, and ability to travel domestically as needed.
  • Ability to successfully complete background, suitability, and child welfare screening requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with community organizations, schools, healthcare systems, legal service providers, faith-based groups, and child welfare agencies to strengthen referral pathways for unaccompanied and immigrant children.
  • Conduct proactive outreach and organize trainings, presentations, and informational sessions to educate stakeholders on available resources and the unique needs of vulnerable youth populations.
  • Represent the organization at community meetings, coalition events, and provider networks to increase awareness and foster collaborative relationships.
  • Lead landscape mapping initiatives to identify service gaps, partnership opportunities, regional strengths, and emerging trends impacting immigrant and unaccompanied children.
  • Maintain and analyze partner databases, engagement metrics, and referral outcomes to support strategic decision-making and program improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams across programs, legal, communications, marketing, and policy to ensure aligned messaging and coordinated partnership efforts.
  • Support the development of outreach materials, partnership briefs, newsletters, resource guides, and community engagement strategies.
  • Track partnership ROI, service accessibility improvements, in-kind contributions, and operational efficiencies to support leadership reporting and planning.
  • Ensure compliance with mandated reporting responsibilities and organizational safeguarding protocols.
