Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
- Experience owning a monthly close end-to-end.
- Demonstrated experience supporting an external audit.
- Hands-on experience with a modern ERP such as NetSuite or Sage Intacct.
- Proficiency with billing, expense, and AP automation tools.
- Strong attention to detail and process discipline.
- Effective communication skills for working with auditors and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Own significant portions of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
- Drive accurate ASC 606 revenue recognition for software and deployment contracts.
- Prepare the company for and lead the first full external financial audit.
- Manage invoicing, accounts receivable, and customer billing inquiries.
- Oversee AP, vendor onboarding, expense reports, and corporate card programs.
- Manage corporate income tax, sales and use tax, and other filings.
- Own the payroll function and associated tax filings and reconciliations.
- Build and document scalable accounting policies and internal controls.
- Evaluate, implement, and optimize finance tech stack and ERP systems.
- Partner with FP&A, GTM, and Operations teams.
