Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to commute between locations as needed.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Professional verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
- Strong data entry skills.
- Detail and quality oriented.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks.
- Comfortable working in a high-volume production environment.
- Able to work overtime during peak seasons when required.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with Company and Facility policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and security with all privileged information.
- Maintain working knowledge of Company and facility software.
- Adhere to the Company's and Customer facilities Code of Conduct and policies.
- Process medical record requests by taking calls from patients, insurance companies and attorneys.
- Prepare new patient charts and ensure medical records are assembled and complete.
- Create digital images of paperwork for electronic medical records.
- Respond to internal and external record requests.
- Handle inbound/outbound calls and administrative tasks like faxing, mail, and data entry.
