Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to commute between locations as needed.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
  • Strong data entry skills.
  • Detail and quality oriented.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume production environment.
  • Able to work overtime during peak seasons when required.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with Company and Facility policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security with all privileged information.
  • Maintain working knowledge of Company and facility software.
  • Adhere to the Company's and Customer facilities Code of Conduct and policies.
  • Process medical record requests by taking calls from patients, insurance companies and attorneys.
  • Prepare new patient charts and ensure medical records are assembled and complete.
  • Create digital images of paperwork for electronic medical records.
  • Respond to internal and external record requests.
  • Handle inbound/outbound calls and administrative tasks like faxing, mail, and data entry.
