Requirements
- Strong knowledge of sneaker culture, footwear trends, and major sneaker brands including Nike, Jordan, Adidas/Yeezy, New Balance, ASICS, Vans, Converse, Salomon, HOKA, and designer collaborations.
- Specific interest or experience in sneaker authentication, counterfeit detection, and release history analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to make consistent and accurate decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiasm for online fashion or sneaker marketplaces and community-driven platforms.
- Professional judgment and ability to handle sensitive or confidential information responsibly.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive and team-oriented mindset.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
- Ability to commit to approximately 20–30 hours per week and attend team meetings regularly.
Responsibilities
- Review and authenticate sneaker listings to ensure all products meet marketplace authenticity and quality standards before publication.
- Verify listing details such as size, condition, accessories, release information, and product categorization accuracy.
- Identify manipulated images, inconsistencies, counterfeit indicators, or inaccurate product descriptions during the authentication process.
- Support moderation requests from community and marketing teams while maintaining marketplace integrity.
- Analyze authentication defect reports to improve accuracy, consistency, and operational processes.
- Stay current on sneaker releases, industry trends, authentication methods, and emerging counterfeit practices.
- Participate in training sessions, mentorship initiatives, and knowledge-sharing activities to strengthen team expertise.
- Assist with the development of authentication resources, guides, and operational checkpoints.
- Contribute to operational goals related to quality, efficiency, service-level agreements, and defect reduction.
