Requirements
- Strong knowledge and interest in sneakers, sneaker culture, and footwear trends
- Specific interest in sneaker authentication, release history, and counterfeit detection
- Ability to learn/adapt quickly with proven independent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in decision-making
- Power user of or enthusiastic about the Grailed platform
- Professional judgment when trusted with sensitive data
- Availability to work 20–30 hours per week
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Availability to attend team meetings and collaborate frequently
Responsibilities
- Review and authenticate sneaker listings before they are available for sale
- Remove unsafe listings or listings that do not meet marketplace standards
- Ensure listings are accurately described and categorized correctly
- Identify inconsistencies, manipulated photos, or inaccurate product details
- Respond to community and marketing requests for additional item moderation
- Review authentication defect reports to support continuous improvement
- Stay up to date on sneaker authentication methods, release trends, and counterfeit techniques
- Host and attend training or mentorship sessions
- Assist in building and improving authentication resources and guides
