Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data center operations, critical facilities, engineering, facilities maintenance, or transition/project coordination roles
- Hands-on experience in mission-critical environments such as data centers
- Familiarity with infrastructure systems (UPS, cooling, generators, BMS, fire/life safety)
- Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, tracking, and risk management across multiple workstreams
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder groups
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint, and project tracking systems (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Support planning and execution of data center transitions from mobilization through operational go-live and steady-state handover
- Develop and maintain detailed transition project plans, including milestones, dependencies, risks, resources, and deliverables
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams spanning operations, engineering, HR, safety, procurement, vendors, and client stakeholders
- Track and manage deliverables, schedules, action items, risks, issues, and decision logs to ensure full visibility and accountability
- Prepare regular reporting materials including dashboards, status updates, executive summaries, and client-facing communications
- Oversee operational readiness activities, including staffing, training, documentation, systems setup, and compliance requirements
- Support governance meetings, readiness reviews, go-live planning, and post-transition closeout activities
