Requirements
- 15+ years experience managing engineering teams and coaching individuals
- Current or former director, vice president, or other senior software engineering leader
- Deep engineering leadership experience
- Experience leading engineering teams through hypergrowth, rapid organizational change, or transition from startup to scale
- Experience building functions from scratch and hiring into ambiguity
- Ability to influence and build credibility across organizational boundaries
- Self-aware with high emotional IQ
- Commitment to 12+ hours per month for at least 24+ months
- Must participate and graduate from ICF-certified coach training program
Responsibilities
- Providing 1:1 coaching to Mento members through virtual sessions using the Mento Platform and Tools
- Participating in ongoing training sessions to improve coaching abilities and skills
- Communicating with members via your Mento email or via chat in the Mento App in between sessions
- Being an integral member of the Mento coaching community by sharing coaching tools and insights
- Acting with kindness, respect, and empathy as an ambassador of the Mento community
