Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA license preferred.
  • 5–10+ years of experience in real estate private equity, fund accounting, or property accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including live skills test).
  • Experience with Private Equity Real Estate (PERE).
  • Familiarity with complex fund structures.
  • Experience with software systems such as Juniper Square, QuickBooks, and Yardi.
  • Ability to commit to a long-term engagement of 3–5+ years.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain LOC, draw, and cash activity trackers; process transfers, wires, and invoice payments.
  • Complete bank reconciliations and manage distributions and NACHA uploads.
  • Maintain investor records in Juniper Square and process capital calls and distributions.
  • Review monthly property financials and prepare entity-level financial statements.
  • Support quarterly fund reporting and coordinate with fund administrators.
  • Provide audit support (PBCs) and assist with annual tax work papers and K-1 reviews.
  • Manage corporate compliance, insurance renewals, and intercompany billing.
  • Implement best practices to improve internal financial workflows.
