Requirements
- CPA certification
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
- 8+ years of accounting experience, including some as a Controller
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
- Big 4 audit experience
- Experience building automations incorporating AI
- Ability to master new business-critical domains quickly
- Startup pragmatism
Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close, financial reporting, audit, tax, and compliance
- Own AP, AR, payroll, GL, and T&E
- Lead migration from QuickBooks to a modern AI-first ERP
- Build automations and AI-native workflows into financial processes
- Partner with Head of Finance on product- and customer-level cost accounting
- Support investor communications and translate finance for non-finance leaders
