Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred; science, construction management, or relevant technical field as alternatives.
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience.
- Experience in environmental consulting or project consulting setting.
- Experience delivering complex projects including engineering and technical services such as treatment systems design and construction.
- Experience in northern and/or remote mine settings.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direction and lead the performance (scope, schedule and cost) of water management and water treatment projects for mining clients.
- Develop integrated project engineering schedule including critical path for the end to end tasks.
- Work with client and resource managers to ensure resources and dependencies are assigned.
- Manage conceptual water treatment design through detailed design stages.
- Ensure assigned resources are executing as planned.
- Provide tracking, reporting, and develop recovery plans.
- Manage project financial performance and ensure on-budget delivery.
- Support risk analysis and manage technical risk.
- Monitor and promote environmental health and worker safety.
- Mentor junior/intermediate project team members.
