Requirements
- 5+ years experience with Ruby on Rails
- 5+ years experience with ReactJS and Typescript
- High comfort level with HTML & CSS
- Ability to create dynamic UX workflows and custom-designed UI components
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
- Strong understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL
- Strong product instincts and care for measurable customer outcomes
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and iterate on AI-powered product experiences across Fleetio’s Rails and React application.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, Data, and Customer Success to identify customer problems for AI workflows.
- Create high-quality front-end experiences using React, TypeScript, Vite, Storybook, and Tailwind.
- Work across the stack, including Rails APIs, database-backed workflows, AI integration, and observability.
- Prototype, experiment, and decide when to iterate, harden, or discard approaches.
- Review code and designs with a focus on user experience, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Mentor other engineers in React, TypeScript, Rails, AI tooling, and product engineering practices.
