Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in legal operations, preferably in-house or in a high-growth technology environment
  • Daily, hands-on use of AI in a professional setting
  • Experience designing prompts, evaluating outputs, and building repeatable AI workflows
  • Demonstrated experience building or managing AI-enabled workflows or legal technology solutions
  • Experience evaluating, implementing, and managing legal technology
  • Strong understanding of legal department operations (intake, matter management, knowledge management, etc.)
  • Strong data literacy with experience defining metrics and building dashboards
  • Experience with contract management tools, Salesforce, and Snowflake
  • Experience supporting privacy program operations
  • Strong project management and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Define and own Legal’s operations strategy, roadmap, and execution plan
  • Build the operating model for an AI-enabled legal department
  • Partner with Legal leadership to identify opportunities to reduce manual work and improve cycle times
  • Translate ambiguous legal and business needs into practical systems and tools
  • Drive evaluation, selection, and implementation of AI-enabled legal technology and automation tools
  • Design and maintain workflows with AI and tools like Jira
  • Define metrics to demonstrate Legal’s business impact and build dashboards
  • Build and maintain SOPs, playbooks, and knowledge systems in Confluence
  • Lead cross-functional legal operations projects and drive change management
