Requirements
- MD, PhD, PharmD, Masters or Doctoral in life sciences/chemistry, or Bachelor of Science plus MBA.
- 10+ years industry experience.
- 5+ years or equivalent multi-/cross-functional leadership experience.
- 4+ years of experience in Cardiovascular therapeutic area.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale, complex multidisciplinary drug development teams.
- Expert knowledge in early- and late-stage drug development.
- Advanced program management and team facilitation skills.
- Strong leadership presence with experience interacting with senior management.
- Strategic decision making, scenario evaluation, and contingency planning capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- AI Fluency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute US Medical CV pipeline and CV prevention strategies.
- Ensure delivery of development activities with accountability for cost, time, and quality.
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team.
- Act as key point of contact with US Medical Affairs and Global teams.
- Establish strategic plan activities and timelines for CV pipeline and prevention.
- Partner with external experts to gain insights and serve as a primary contact.
- Identify program bottlenecks, propose solutions, and lead risk assessment and contingency planning.
- Analyze disease projections and competitive intelligence.
- Support the VP/Head, Medical Therapeutic Area in program recommendations for governance boards.
