Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 8 or more years of cloud engineering experience with platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure components
  • Scripting and automation experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
  • IaC tools experience (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
  • Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)

Responsibilities

  • Designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based computing solutions and infrastructure for CASTLE-NET projects
  • Ensuring high availability, reliability, optimized performance, and robust security of cloud-based applications
  • Managing Microsoft Azure (IaaS/PaaS), Active Directory (AD), Entra ID (Azure AD), Group Policy, and Azure PowerShell/CLI
  • Managing Microsoft IaaS, Azure networking, AKS (Kubernetes), and managing Windows Server 2012+ instances
  • Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and IT leadership for seamless integration and alignment with objectives
  • Deliver world-class IT services and responsive, dependable customer support
  • Exceed the expectations of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) OCIO/G-6 IT end-users
  • Deliver vital solutions and strengthen the IT foundation with secure, innovative, and modernized technological solutions
