  • At least seven years of government healthcare payer experience.
  • Experience managing teams with client contract responsibility.
  • Proven experience building and launching services in new markets.
  • Experience managing long sales cycles, capture management, and price to win.
  • Experience serving in a dual role as growth leader and program leader.
  • Strong relationship development skills with state clients and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of CRM processes, pipeline management, and opportunity tracking.
  • Strong business acumen regarding state environments and funding structures.

Responsibilities

  • Build and advance state market strategy with emphasis on Medicaid managed care.
  • Lead business development and portfolio growth in state markets.
  • Manage long sales cycles including qualification, capture management, and competitive positioning.
  • Drive growth with existing clients and win new state clients.
  • Lead conference strategy and execution for prospect identification.
  • Provide initial delivery oversight until work scales.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on procurement, pricing, and execution.
