Requirements
- Board-certified physician (MD or DO).
- Certification in Psychiatry (ABPN/AOA) with SUD experience or Primary Specialty with Addiction Medicine subspecialty (ABPM).
- Active state medical license in at least one U.S. state.
- DEA registration and state-controlled substance license.
- Experience in telemedicine and electronic health records.
- Comfort working in an AI-augmented care environment.
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
- Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) participation preferred.
- Multi-state licensure strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive SUD care via virtual visits including assessments and diagnosis.
- Prescribe and monitor MAT such as naltrexone and Suboxone.
- Address concurrent mental health issues in collaboration with clinical team.
- Utilize Atlas AI-native EHR for documentation and clinical guidance.
- Collaborate with counselors and member operations for coordinated care.
- Participate in case reviews, journal clubs, and peer reviews.
- Develop and maintain personalized treatment plans.
- Refine and implement clinical protocols and standards.
- Commit to 10 hours per week.
