Requirements
- 7+ years in content marketing, editorial, or journalism.
- Prior editor-in-chief or managing editor level experience.
- Proven experience running a brand blog and/or YouTube channel at scale.
- People management experience.
- Deep working knowledge of SEO best practices and content analytics tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4, YouTube Studio, Northbeam).
- Fluent across major social platforms (X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
- Comfortable briefing and directing video production.
- Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Exceptional editorial and writing abilities.
Responsibilities
- Own the editorial vision, voice, and cadence across all owned blog, video, social media, and community channels.
- Develop and execute an SEO-forward content strategy to improve rankings and drive acquisition.
- Own the BOXED YouTube channel strategy, including show concepts and production schedules.
- Own engagement and conversion KPIs, optimizing content to drive traffic and product engagement.
- Oversee social media GTM strategy across X, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Manage and develop the Social & Community Manager and oversee community health.
- Build and manage a roster of freelance writers, editors, and on-camera talent.
- Establish goals and report on performance metrics using attribution platforms like Northbeam.
