Requirements
- 8+ years of product management experience.
- Significant depth in platform, infrastructure, or developer experience.
- Software engineering background strongly preferred.
- Ability to engage with Staff engineers on architectural tradeoffs and system design.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure (EKS, RDS, S3, IAM).
- Familiarity with Terraform and Kubernetes.
- Proven success influencing direction without formal authority.
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and business audiences.
- Experience with security and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, GDPR, FERPA).
- Track record of improving developer productivity and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Own the long-term vision and roadmap for platform capabilities.
- Drive alignment across engineering and product leadership on platform priorities.
- Serve as the connective tissue between platform and product teams.
- Lead platform strategy discussions with engineering, SRE, data, security, and legal.
- Own the definition and initiatives for platform health, resiliency, and cost efficiency.
- Manage roadmap discipline and scope governance.
- Partner with security and legal to shape platform capabilities around compliance.
- Communicate platform strategy and business outcomes to senior leadership.
