Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Demonstrated Staff-level scope (cross-team technical leadership, strategy, and delivery).
- Proven track record owning products/features through the full lifecycle.
- Expertise with TypeScript/Node.js.
- Expertise with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React).
- Strong SQL fundamentals with an RDBMS such as PostgreSQL.
- Depth in distributed systems or real-time application patterns (WebSockets/streaming/PubSub).
- Performance optimization skills across the stack.
- Strong product mindset and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Own complex product areas end-to-end from discovery and design to implementation, rollout, and iteration.
- Lead architecture and system design for real-time, high-volume workflows.
- Author clear technical design docs and set standards for code quality, testing, performance, and observability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with PM, Design, and other engineers.
- Mentor and uplevel engineers through design reviews, pairing, and feedback.
- Improve developer experience (DevEx) and reliability.
- Participate in on-call and help uphold operational excellence.
