Requirements
- 5+ years of production AWS infrastructure experience.
- Deep expertise in Terraform.
- Hands-on experience building the SRE function from scratch.
- Experience working in a multi-site company with PaaS or microservices.
- Proven ownership of CI/CD pipelines in a production environment.
- Experience with PagerDuty and on-call rotation management.
- Experience with SRE tooling such as OpenTelemetry and Grafana.
- Strong documentation skills for runbooks and architecture patterns.
- Demonstrated cost consciousness regarding business infrastructure spend.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Stand up the SRE practice from scratch including on-call rotation and observability dashboards.
- Complete the AWS multi-account migration for production workloads.
- Deliver SOC 2 Type I audit-ready infrastructure evidence package.
- Version and publish a private Terraform module library.
- Implement automated deployment rollback for ECS and Lambda.
- Stand up monthly cost reporting and budget anomaly detection for leadership.
