Requirements
- Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in writing for multiple platforms and audiences (web, print, social, campaign).
- Experience in developing content that aligns with brand voice, tone, and strategic objectives.
- Strong understanding of Canadian English grammar, spelling, and style.
- Proven ability to work independently while also contributing meaningfully in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Familiarity with Canadian Press style (asset).
- Experience in international development or global missions (asset).
- Experience working within a faith-based, non-profit, or ministry context (asset).
Responsibilities
- Develop written content to support various marketing needs that align with strategic goals.
- Walk narrative content from the idea stage and deliver to market in multiple styles across multiple channels.
- Work with managers to develop a portfolio of focused content and identify internal groups to support.
- Edit and proofread content for the organization.
- Ensure all written communications adhere to organization guidelines, tone, and Canada Press style.
- Participate in and contribute to team meetings and creative brainstorming sessions.
- Provide input and advice to internal groups to maximize storytelling and marketing potential.
