Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in Market Access, Employer Benefits, Payer Strategy, or related roles.
- Deep understanding of self-insured employer benefit design.
- Expertise in specialty drug economics and medical benefit dynamics.
- Strong grasp of payer vs employer decision authority.
- Proven ability to engage senior, non-clinical stakeholders such as HR and Finance.
- Strong executive presence and ability to translate clinical value into business impact.
- Comfort operating in high-visibility, white-space roles.
Responsibilities
- Lead upstream engagement with decision networks including employers, consultants, TPAs, and specialty benefit managers.
- Manage a prioritized portfolio of 30-40 employer decision networks.
- Establish sustained educational relationships regarding benefit philosophy and total cost of care.
- Influence benefit design decisions ahead of annual cycles to prevent access barriers.
- Tailor messaging for diverse stakeholders including HR, Finance, and benefits leaders.
- Capture and synthesize employer insights to inform market access and contracting strategy.
- Collaborate across regions to ensure consistent strategy and messaging.
- Track leading indicators of success such as avoided carve-outs and improved site-of-care alignment.
