- Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
- 10+ years of experience in legal advisory
- Meaningful in-house experience
- Expertise in U.S. federal and multi-state employment law
- Experience advising on global employment matters (UK/EU, Canada, APAC)
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Working knowledge of global privacy laws
- Willingness to use AI and other tools to improve legal operations
Responsibilities
- Serve as go-to employment lawyer across the full employee lifecycle
- Provide risk-calibrated, practical guidance to the business
- Lead legal strategy for key employment programs
- Develop and maintain supporting policies, templates, and playbooks
- Support international expansion by advising on employment law matters across jurisdictions
- Manage and optimize EOR relationships globally
- Provide employment-related guidance on compensation matters
