Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in the medical communications industry.
- Expert level knowledge of medical publication accounts and medical communications tactics.
- BS or BA degree in business, life sciences, communications, or related discipline.
- Strong project management and time management skills managing large/multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Proven leadership experience with a focus on account services.
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
- Ability to think analytically and effectively plan, prioritize, and execute.
- Expert verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel as necessary (<10%).
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and manage account teams.
- Develop project proposals and budgets in collaboration with internal teams.
- Lead strategic publication and medical communication planning initiatives.
- Manage financial aspects of client accounts, including forecasting and reporting.
- Identify and nurture new business opportunities.
- Mentor, train, and coach team members, managing 1-2 direct reports.
- Facilitate communication between team members and clients.
- Present and sell high-quality deliverables to clients.
