Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years professional experience in nonprofits, customer service, communications, social sciences, HR, or college admissions.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
- Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM.
- Typing/transcribing speed of at least 40–60 WPM.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with empathy and diplomacy.
- Interest in social impact, youth development, and educational opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and transcribe 18-20, 30-minute phone interviews per week.
- Assess applicants for motivation and program fit, review references, and make eligibility recommendations.
- Navigate difficult conversations with applicants.
- Administer volunteer data in Salesforce and Outlook.
- Guide applicants through regional and logistical program nuances.
- Support call campaigns including scheduling background checks and interviews.
- Manage communications cadence to guide volunteers through the pipeline.
- Follow internal risk management, compliance, and communication procedures.
