Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including at least 2 years of hands-on experience with the Instanda platform.
  • Strong domain expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance.
  • Good understanding of Reinsurance and Workers’ Compensation processes.
  • Familiarity with insurance product lifecycle management and regulatory requirements.
  • Expertise in process mapping and proficiency with tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Bizagi.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with US-based clients and understanding of US insurance market practices.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in remote collaborative environments.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence is preferred.
  • Instanda certifications or insurance-related certifications are considered a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for Instanda platform implementations.
  • Conduct workshops and requirement-gathering sessions independently with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Map current and future-state business processes, identifying gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for technical teams.
  • Support testing, validation, and solution reviews to ensure alignment with business goals and operational expectations.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and maintain key project documentation including BRDs, FRDs, workflows, and process maps.
  • Facilitate presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for stakeholders and end users.
  • Ensure smooth communication, issue resolution, and delivery coordination across multiple project streams.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support successful project implementation within Agile environments.
