Requirements

  • Proven experience leading software engineering teams in fast-paced SaaS, technology, or startup-like environments.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented programming principles and scalable system design.
  • Hands-on experience with Node.js, JavaScript, and modern full-stack development practices.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, testable, and high-quality production code.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge with experience writing complex queries and optimizing database performance.
  • Experience working with APIs, distributed systems, integrations, and data flow management.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across applications, databases, and production systems.
  • Experience managing incidents, debugging production issues, and supporting high-availability environments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and modern software delivery processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional engineering team, combining technical leadership with active hands-on development responsibilities.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications and automation systems using modern engineering best practices.
  • Drive the development of orchestration tools, sandbox environments, and data synchronization pipelines.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineering teams.
  • Conduct code reviews, promote engineering standards, and ensure code quality and scalability.
  • Define and execute technical roadmaps while balancing short-term delivery with long-term platform stability.
  • Facilitate Agile development processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify technical risks and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development.
  • Represent engineering perspectives in cross-functional discussions.
