Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in application support, production support, technical operations, backend QA, or SRE-lite roles.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON structures, HTTP protocols, and backend request/response flows.
- Hands-on experience investigating production issues through logs, monitoring dashboards, and system metrics.
- Practical experience with MongoDB, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Kafka or event-driven architectures and messaging systems.
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes-based applications and containerized environments.
- Experience using observability and monitoring tools such as Kibana, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Knowledge of Scala and Java backend systems.
- Understanding of authentication concepts including OAuth.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical application support and operational backup coverage for backend systems, APIs, and audience workflow processes.
- Investigate production and staging incidents using logs, metrics, database queries, Kafka states, and observability platforms.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to API integrations, authentication flows, synchronization failures, and external platform connectivity.
- Support platform integrations with advertising and social media ecosystems.
- Perform operational checks and remediation tasks following established runbooks.
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and cross-regional teams to ensure rapid issue resolution.
- Document technical findings, incident summaries, troubleshooting steps, and escalation details.
- Contribute to maintaining system reliability and support process improvement.
