Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering, backend development, or integrations.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language: Node.js, Ruby, or Python.
- Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, authentication methods, and asynchronous workflows.
- Ability to design scalable, efficient, and maintainable technical solutions.
- Experience working with SQL databases or DataWarehouses.
- Exposure to cloud platforms.
- Interest in full stack development, Git workflows, and CI/CD practices.
- Excellent analytical skills, structured thinking, and ability to synthesize information.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging mindset.
- Fluent in English; French speaking is a plus.
- Knowledge of BigCommerce is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable technical solutions including integrations and automations.
- Build internal tools, reporting solutions, web applications, and plugins.
- Enhance BigCommerce integrations.
- Perform tests and provide proof of results.
- Participate in peer code reviews to maintain code quality.
- Write clear Setup Guides and Deployment Methodologies.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and provide workload estimates.
- Take support shifts on a rotating basis.
