Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in IT project management.
- 3+ years in a senior or lead role.
- Experience managing large-scale software implementation or modernization projects.
- Demonstrated success in complex public sector or enterprise IT projects.
- Strong knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Expertise in project management methodologies such as PMP, Agile, or Scrum.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with vendor management and procurement processes in government projects.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate across agencies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee planning and execution of platform modernization projects.
- Manage cross-functional teams including developers, architects, analysts, and designers.
- Define clear project scope, objectives, and success metrics.
- Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress against milestones.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state IT governance and security policies.
- Implement Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and steering committee updates.
- Drive organizational change management and user adoption strategies.
