Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, energy, or related field.
- PMI PMP, PgMP, or PMI-ACP certification.
- 7+ years of experience as a project or operations manager.
- Background in solar, renewable energy, heavy construction, or aerospace.
- Advanced skill level in MS Office Suite.
- Experience with PM tools: Cora, Wrike, Kantana, Project Insight, Primavera P6, JIRA, Confluence.
- Experience leading small teams and remote/distributed contractors.
- Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects.
- Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
- Understanding of SCADA systems, grid controllers, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, SNMP, etc.) preferred.
- Familiarity with PLM and ERP software preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans defining scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
- Manage project lifecycle stages from initiation through to closure.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and subcontractors.
- Monitor project costs and schedules to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Lead cross-functional teams including engineers and technicians.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with Legal and Sales on contract reviews and negotiations.
- Mentor junior Project Manager team members.
- Drive process improvements and standardization across teams.
