Requirements
- 5+ years in customer-facing IT infrastructure, cloud operations, or systems administration.
- Strong operational expertise in at least one major cloud platform, with ability to lead in Azure.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience supporting a production OpenShift environment.
- Experience leading complex incidents, escalations, and problem investigations.
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux server operations and networking fundamentals.
- Experience in managed services or multi-customer support environment.
- Working knowledge of PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD tools.
- Strong customer-facing verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to drive resolution across multiple teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead support and operation of cloud infrastructure, platform services, identity, networking, and security.
- Architect and lead deployment of moderately complex cloud solutions.
- Own complex incidents, escalations, and problem investigations.
- Plan and execute complex changes and maintenance events.
- Serve as senior escalation point for major incidents and after-hours change activity.
- Develop and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and technical documentation.
- Mentor other Cloud Engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Operate and support production Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
- Support platform automation using IaC and GitOps practices (Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Argo CD).
- Define and improve observability and alerting for cloud platforms.
