Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing required, master’s degree preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse in Florida.
- OCN certification required or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Seven (7) years of experience or more in the healthcare field or clinic/outpatient setting.
- Knowledge of Oncology required.
- Minimum five (5) years of management experience.
- Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong time management and organizational awareness.
- Ability to collaborate across levels of management, departments, and teams.
Responsibilities
- Direct oversight of assigned staff in the area.
- Collaborate with area nurse managers to address clinical staff performance and ensure clinical support.
- Partner with nurse managers and pharmacy leadership to review and adjust clinical staffing across assigned sites.
- Collaborate with area leadership on clinical candidate screening and selection.
- Review patient safety events and regional dashboards to identify trends.
- Provide quarterly event trend report.
- Partner with Risk Management and clinical staff to ensure timely event review and follow-up.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual area budget related to clinical services.
