Requirements
- 10+ years in data engineering, workflow automation, or platform engineering.
- Strong experience building data-centric engineering or DevOps platforms.
- Proven track record delivering production-grade pipelines, APIs, and context systems.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot Custom Agents and enterprise workflows.
- Deep platform-level knowledge or experience with VS Code extension environment.
- Proficiency in workflow orchestration (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, Step Functions).
- Expertise in SQL, data modeling, and medallion/layered architectures.
- Proficiency in Python, Node, or Scala for tooling, pipelines, and integrations.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain GitHub Copilot Custom Agents including custom instructions, skills, tools, hooks, and integrations.
- Develop Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to expose structured engineering data and insights into Copilot.
- Establish structured developer context databases such as SQL repositories, graph databases, and vector indexes.
- Implement automated workflows for DevSecOps, code quality, architecture governance, and security scanning.
- Integrate agent capabilities into VS Code, GitHub repositories, PR flows, and CI/CD pipelines.
